ОписаниеModel of passenger ship 'Asturias'.
Motorship built by Harland & Wolff for the Royal Mail Lines in 1925. Maiden voyage from Southampton to La Plata. Converted to turbine propulsion in 1934. Became an armed merchant cruiser in 1939 and the forward funnel was removed. Became a troop trasport in 1947 and then took up the emigrant service from Southampton to Sydney. Scrapped in 1957.
