ОписаниеA photographic studio portrait showing a 27-year-old Arthur Ernest Rowland, who travelled on the ship on her 40th and 42nd voyages from Liverpool to Melbourne and back in 1873 and 1874. The photograph tells us it was produced in Preston in 1882, by photographer John Monk in his ‘Imperial Studios’ at 81 Fishergate, Church Street. The back of the print shows the address of the photography studios, as well as the handwriting that reads, ‘Arthur Ernest Rowland author and arranger of music and one of the seven sent of the Rowland family band.’
