Pages 7 & 8 from The Times on Tuesday 14th March 1876 with parts of pages 6 & 9 attached. Page 7 contains details of the Parliamentary debates on the motion of 'Going into Committee of Supply' (the decision to appoint a civilian as the head of the admiralty'), 'British, Foreigh and Ironclad Navies' (a general debate about the state of the Royal Navy) and 'Supply: The Navy Estimates' (costs and headcount estimates for the Royal Navy for 1876/77).
Page 8: the debate on the Navy Estimates continues, but there are also small ads, notices, details of theatre performances and details of the debate on Heligoland and foreign affairs.
