Создатель Marc Isambard Brunel (author/ illustrator)
ОписаниеMap diagram of 'Railways from London to Birmingham and to Bristol' drawn by Sir Marc I. Brunel outlining the main lines proposed on his railway plan.
Drawn in a simplified form, railway routes are presented in a triangle marked with solid lines representing the proposed railway lines from London to Oxford, and from there north to Birmingham and west to Bath and then Bristol. Brunel has also added the distances between all of these proposed stations as well as illustrating the potential time saving such routes might produce on current travel times. Also marked out in a broken pencil line is a route from Bristol to Birmingham including the location of the towns of Gloucester, Worcester and Tewksbury. Signed M. I. Brunel.
