Written by Bernhard Schmidt, radio operator of the tug 'Varius II', written in German, entitled 'Bergung' [Salvage]. The report covers the time period of 4 April 1970 when the tug is in the Falklands and in the middle of the salvage operation to 23 June 1970 when the tug hands over the 'Great Britain' on the pontoon the Bristol tugs to tow into dock at Avonmouth. 10 double-sided pages, stapled together. Annotated in pencil and red pen with hand-written notes.
