Original in SS Great Britain collection: 1997.036. 'Letter from C.J.Mason to T.R.Guppy, Great Western Steam Ship Works, Bristol. Dated 28th May 1845. Postmarked Newcastle-under-Lyne 28th May 1846 and Bristol 29th May 1846. Mason writes to Guppy about order of tableware for the ss Great Britain. Includes list of tableware items available in London by 11th [June] 'as the Britain sails on the 12th'.'
