DescriptionSet of three specimen banknotes commemorating Isambard Kingdom Brunel that were printed by Harrison and Sons Ltd. The banknotes are mounted on card, with both sides framed and glazed (the reverse of the banknotes are visible). The front of the banknote depicts portrait of Brunel with the Royal Albert bridge, adjacent. The Clifton suspension bridge can be seen underneath the Brunel portrait. On the reverse is a full length portrait of Brunel with his three ships, the Great Western, the Great Britain, and the Great Eastern.
