DescriptionFalklands Islands Centenary Medal, 1933. 36mm. Medal is complete, and in good condition. Obverse bears the head of King George V, left. Inscription of obverse reads: GEORGIVS.V.D.G.BRITT.OMN.REX.ET.INIAE.IMP. The reverse bears a shield partitioned diagonally from upper left to lower right; in the lower left is a sealion, and in the upper right a ship. The inscription of the reverse reads: FALKLAND ISLANDS CENTENARY 1833 - 1933, (round the shield) THE RIGHT DESIRE.
