DescriptionA small note and scrapbook made by Arthur Ernest Rowland, who was a passenger on the ship. It contained a selection of hand-written notes about his voyages to and from Australia in 1873-74, as well as some newspaper cuttings about the Great Britain and notes about the Science Museum model of the ship. Some clippings are taken directly from Rowlands’ time on the Great Britain, while others appear to have been added in later years, such as those talking about the ship’s being stranded in Port Stanley.
