TitleRemains of the engine factory for the Great Western Steam Ship Company
DescriptionA wall fragment of the building which was originally built in the 1840s and used as the engine factory for the Great Western Steam Ship Company. Only a small part of the building remained after it had been bombed down during the Second World War.
This part of the wall was preserved when a new building was errected in 2010 which contains the Brunel Institute and the Visitor Centre. The new building externally looks the same as the old engine factory of which this wall fragment is a part of.
