DescriptionThe carte de visite shows a starboard side view an unidentified steamship, with a square-rigged masts with an additional fore-and-aft sail, then two funnels, and then two more square-rigged masts and two more fore-and-aft rigged masts. The image is an engraving based on an unidentified painting.
On the reverse is a business card for Richard Wilkins, artist & photographer, and handwritten notes of: 'H.M.S. Minautaur [sic]', 'Faulks Painting', and 'K£1.50'.
