Includes details of the writers grandfather, Grandfather, John Wilder, lived at who Littleton 'near the common', and afterwards 'by the side of Witton Common'. He was a sheep farmer. Mentions Grandmother, but doesn't name. Then begins to talk about his father 'William Brotherhood, was born in Witton Dean in January 1788, and died at Hounslow, through a fall from his horse, January 26th 1839, only 51 years of age.'
