View shows the gorge with the Clifton Suspension Bridge under construction - the two piers of the bridge have scaffolding at top of both and bar between. Boats and ships on the River Avon with people walking along banks. The 'giants hole' is visible, with railings at entrance.
Paper decoration on outside is cross pattern in blue, red and silver. Hinge is fabric. Yellow string in two hoops piece either side of box.
Print is possibly from a series by 'Kershaw & Son'.
