DescriptionSolid silver dessert spoon - plain front, with 'B' engraved towards end of handle, very worn, only the deeper engraved area still visible, small black mark visible to right of 'B'. Bowl is tear drop shaped. Reverse slightly scuffed, hall marks worn, and in an irregular line. Makers mark half visible. Hall marks located towards end of handle, which identifies the spoon as registered in London, made by Richard Crossley, letter 'D' represents 1799.
