DescriptionDavid MacGregor’s notebook containing detailed measurements, drawings, elevations, lines as well as extensive notes and details of various vessels. The vessels surveyed in 1952 include the ‘Surf’ (a Sennen seine boat built in 1893), the ‘Gem’ (a St Ives gig), and three trows lying at Purton including the ‘Joseph & Anne Rice’ (J.& A.R.), the ‘Britannia’, and the ‘Higre’ of Gloucester. Also included is a plan of the vessels at Purton, detailing which vessel lays where.
