DescriptionDavid MacGregor’s notebook containing measurements of the hull and sails of the spritsail barge ‘Venta’. The lines were taken off in March 1964. Includes elevations and cross sections and details on rigging and sails. Measurements, notes and drawings with more detail were added to the notebook in 1967 by A. G. Smith. Added notes include details on the main windlass, winch and other fittings.
‘Venta’ was built in 1893 at Maldon by J. T. Howard
