Description The object appears to be the topmost part of a metal spoon's handle, recovered from the Royal Charter shipwreck. It is slender at the bottom and becomes broad, flat, and slightly curved at the top. It is heavily corroded and has large mineral deposits on both the front and back sides, due to being submerged in seawater.
