TitleSerpent Ring
DescriptionA metal ring with a bezel set, glassy pale, oblong stone, recovered from the Royal Charter shipwreck. The stone has to veritical cracks through it and it set into two slender rectangles of tarnished, coppery-colored metal surrounded by a carved, possibly gold, serpent eating its tail. The ring band has an open braided design, with three consecutively smaller loops on either side. There are rust-orange deposits around the stone and in the loops on the band. The ring is tarnished over all.
