DescriptionA woman's left hand silk glove, probably dating to the 1850s, recovered from the Royal Charter shipwreck. The glove shows signs of wear and fraying at the fingertips and near the bottom seam. There are three chain stiched points extending along the back of the glove with a design of dotted clusters at the end of each.
