Description‘Wall-mounted, month-going regulator clock, in a glazed oak case, the front glass panel has a coverable escutcheon in line with the winding opening on the face. The mechanism inside is fronted by an engraved and silvered face with 3 dials - the largest encompassing the entire face counts minutes in the hour, a smaller one which counts the seconds of the minute, and another which counts the hour. Across the centre of the face is engraved 'E.J. Dent London // Clock Maker to the Queen', the latter part of which surrounds the opening for winding the mechanism. In the lower face the serial number is written, '674'.’
