DescriptionA horn-handled penknife made by G. Butler and Co., made circa 1840 with engraved initials IKB. Accessories include tin opener, blade, saw, hook, spike, drill, corkscrew, metal toothpick and tweezers. Solid, heavy penknife encased in horn. The horn handle is secured on both top and bottom by 4 small nails. The horn is a yellow hue with brown streaks. Around the top of the knife is a small design of 6 lines across engraved into the metal with one curved line above that.
