DescriptionFramed and glazed commemorative brown and white textile celebrating 150 years of the Great Western Railway. Contained within its floral border are images depicting 6 of Brunel's engineering works along the Great Western Railway. They are, running from top to bottom, the Brunel Trestle Bridge, the Maidenhead Bridge, Sydney Gardens, the Chepstow Bridge, Bristol Station and an image of a Firefly class train exiting the Box tunnel. All four bridges are shown in profile view. Bristol train station is shown from the inside, with a cut-section view looking down the tracks. In the middle, flanking the image of the Chepstow Bridge are identical, mirroring pictures of Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The collection is topped with the logo of the Great Western Railway at the top.
