DescriptionCromdale. Portrait orientation. Seascape with a wrecked three-masted ship, the Cromdale, in the midground. Near the Lizard in Cornwall. Bow of ship is above water but stern is submerged. Sails are up. There are rocks to right of foreground. There is possibly figure sat beside the rock in the foreground, looking to the wreck. Accompanied by a plastic and paper wallet, which states: "CROMDALE (1891)" and "CROMDALE (1891) wrecked at the Lizard May 1913". This is now in the Object History File.
