DescriptionSmall white ceramic black printed nursery alphabet plate with inscription ‘Thames Tunnel’ and a picture of with pedestrians in the Tunnels and on the stairs above. With blue decorative band painted around the rim and white alphabet letters around the plate inside the blue band. Two printed labels underneath, one saying "James Blewitt, Boxted Hall, Colchester" and the other saying " J & J May, 40 Church St, Kensington, W8" plus a telephone number and hand-written marks in red ink.
