DescriptionGreat Western Railway timetable printed in blue ink on paper. The timetable stated that 'On and after Wednesday, the 1st May, 1844, this Line will be completed to EXETER for the Conveyance of Passengers, Carriages, horses, and Goods. Stations at Tiverton Road, Collumpton, and Hele, will also be opened'. This was probably the first timetable to include the route to Exeter that opened 1 May 1844. Timetable was enclosed in James Wyld’s Great Western, Cheltenham, Bristol & Gloucester Railway Map, London: Jas. Wyld Geographer to the Queen, Charing Cross East. 1839.
