Description A map by James Wyld of the Great Western, Cheltenham, Bristol & Gloucester Railway. There are four engraved maps and a cross section on one sheet of paper which folds into a green outer cover. The four maps and section show the line between London Paddington and Bristol on a scale: 1 inch to 5 miles (horizontal); 1 inch to 600 feet [1:7,200] (vertical). On the inside of the cover is a handwritten date of 1840.
