DescriptionMonochrome print engraving of the Scottish physician William Saunders, published for the European Magazine in 1817. A half-length profile portrait of Saunders against a plain background, it was engraved by H. Meyer, from a drawing by R.W. Satchwell.
A caption beneath the image gives publication information for the print, and Saunders' name, qualifications and memberships of the Royal Society, etc. Saunders died in June 1817, and this print was published 1st November of that year.
