Description Small cardboard box belonging to Sir Isambart [sic] Brunel with red edges and interior and label on lid saying 'Grayhurst, Harvey, Denton & Co., Goldsmiths and Watch Makers'. Contained three plaster medallions of Sir Isambart [sic] Marc Brunel.
Lot description: BRUNEL, Sir Marc Isambard (1769-1849). - W.J. TAYLOR. A double-sided medallion. [N.p.:] cast with date 1842 (diameter 40mm.) One side with a profile portrait titled 'Sir Isambart [sic] Marc Brunel, F.R.S. &c.', the other with a view of the tunnel below the River Thames titled 'Thames Tunnel 1842', within original leather case. - And five similar plaster medallions (one broken), a silhouette portrait, a small polychrome watercolour titled 'Sir M.I. & Lady Brunel', a monochrome watercolour, a pencil drawing and a typed extract from a book, all of related interest (a lot)
