Concerns the Thames Tunnel. On 5 November reminisces about 'this day in 1802' when he 'entered the Portsmouth Dock Yard for the first time'. It also mentions Admiral Parker. On 6 November discusses water on the 'Road way' and also mentions a person referred to Tillet.
At the end of the entry writes 'What awful change in my writing 'The Tunnel is done!' (underlined). Two sheets of paper stuck together with the second one folded up. On verso is another diary page for Wednesday 9th with no diary entry.
