DescriptionCarpenter's marking gauge found by the donor, Mr Sammerfeild, in rubbish tip of material removed from ss Great Britain on its return to Bristol from the Falkland Islands in June 1970. Gauge consists of a brass handle with adjustable wooden head with brass top.
