DescriptionWooden box covered in black leather, with brass push lock mechanism and hinge. Interior lined with purple plush material, lid lined with purple silk material. Lid interior has maker's name 'Elkington & Co Ltd, 22 Regent St, S.W.' in gold lettering surmounted by a gold crown. Used to hold medal commemorating the opening of Clifton Suspension Bridge, 8th December 1864.
