The questions relate to the coal bunkers of the screw engines, the screw alley (a water-tight passage for the screw-shaft running through the after compartment) and the installation of the lower supports of the sponson beams. Specifically Hawkshaw, Fowler and McClean are being asked to judge who is responsible for each piece of work.
