الوصفLetter from John Penn to Isambard Kingdom Brunel
Great Ship Company Report Book, Letterbook for the Great Ship Company, the successor to the Eastern Steam Navigation Company
Written from Deptford, London. The letter explains that Penn missed Brunel by five minutes but spoke to William Jacomb about the matters that Brunel was concerned about. The letter apologises that Penn has not received Brunel's letter about a mechanical method of cleaning the bottom of ships but asks when he can see Brunel to discuss the matter.
