ОписаниеPlate from the ss Great Eastern in white with gold detailing. Plate is decorated with gilding around the rim and a gold chain link motif around the edge. In the centre is a circular design: Britannia is sat facing left with an anchor at her feet, a ship is under sail in the background. The image is worn, smudged and hard to discern. On the back of the plate is a W. H. Kerr Binns & Co. manufacturers stamp. Plate measures 238mm in diameter. Great Ship Company Limited stamp on bottom.
