An account of a story relating to 'Uncle Jack' Brotherhood and a bull in a meadow in front of the Duke of Northumberlands Sion House, on the Thames between the Brentford and Isleworth. There is a 'sunk fence or Ha-Ha' which uncle Jack had to use to try to escape the angry Bull - 'my Father who had just come down a tree with his clambers which had spikes inside of the middle of the foot, he stood on the top of the wall until Bill came along with his back a little below, he jumped onto his back and drove his spikes into the Bulls sides which so startled him that he lift uncle Jack...'
