ОписаниеPlate from the ss Great Eastern in white with gold detailing. Plate is docorated with gold paint around the rim, a gold chain link design around the edge. The image of Britannia and a ship in the centre of the plate is completely faded, all the gold paint is lost leaving a faint ghost image. Britannia is sat facing left with an anchor at her feet while the ship is under sail in the background. On the back of the plate is a W. H. Kerr Binns & Co. manufacturers stamp. Plate measure 236mm in diamenter. Some loss of the paint around the rim and part of the chain link design around the edge. Great Ship Company Limited stamp on bottom.
