Folded into a green leather wallet with the word 'London' stamped in gilt on the front. Inscription in pencil (faded) on the inside of the wallet reads: 'I. Brunel à M.I K Brunels Novembre 4 1845 18 Duke St Westminstère Londres' with a small sketch and other intelligible writing on the sides.
