ОписаниеPage 2 of the letter dated Antananarivo, 31 March 1875. 2 Pages. Loose part of the Album containing 134 letters. Second part of a letter from a clergyman based in the capital of Madagascar. He refers in both letters to a Tananarive, this is the old French name for Antananarivo. He notes the presence of old French settlers, 'Creole' (from Bourgoin?). The second half of this letter mirrors the first - worries over a lack of suitable churches/site for churches and a reiteration of the desire to build more schools.
