    ОписаниеA letter from Lord Campbell, Strathedean House, to B Hawes Esq. dated 20 February 1844. Campbell accepts an invitation to attend a function/party for the Liberal Party. Mentions the danger of separation in Ireland. It is thought that this is John Campbell, 7th Duke of Argyll. In 1841, along with other British and Irish noblemen, he established the British American Colonisation Association, also known as the British American Association Contained within an album of letters addressed to members of the Brunel and Hawes families, page 6. The letters are contained in a brown hardback album belonging to Lady Sophia Macnamara Hawes.
