The ship was launched as the Virginian in 1904 for the Allan Line, but was sold to the Swedish American Line in 1920 and re-named Drottningholm. The Swedish American Line sold the ship in 1948 to the Home Lines and she was re-named Brazil, and later Homeland. She was scrapped in 1955.
