    Создатель Rowland Brotherhood (author)‎
ОписаниеTenth page of handwritten memoir written by Rowland Brotherhood, contractor who worked with IK Brunel. Page 10 of 78. carries on with account of flooding - his family had to get the fire engine out and use buckets to remove water. The maids carried their goods away from the water, and 'the old Butlers gave us so much of their Scotch ale and it went down like mils (milk?), and when night came some of us could not walk home'. Talks more about his uncle Jack being a good dancer, and that 'he was fond of riding, and would ride the wild colts unbroken on the heath'. He eventually joined the '4th Light Horse'.
