ОписаниеA cap badge made to be stitched to a cap or uniform sleeve for the Merchant Navy. It is supposedly original from the 1950s or even earlier. On the front it shows a small metal anchor displayed in the centre of a red oval velvet mount. This is surrounded by gold thread stitched leaves or plant foliage. At the top of the badge is a metal crown formed out of sails and vessels' sterns.
On the reverse is a label attached with the markings 'Lawton & Fenner Ltd., Reg. No, 675204'.
