Barry Railway : Coal's Last Burst
-
This booklet covers the history of the Barry Railway. Barry, like most docks along the South Wales coast, was developed for the export of coal. The Barry Railway had a relatively short life that ended in 1923, with absorption into the Great Western Railway, but one that nevertheless played an important part in the industrial history of south Wales.
