Printed with the individual companies in which investment was held and the date that the provisions were processed, including Great Western Hotel, Great Western Railway Company, Eagle Line Company, South Wales Railway, South Wales Railway Company, South Devon Railway Company, - Railway Company, Plymouth Great Western Railway Company, Architectural Union Company Ltd., Exeter and Exmouth Railway Company, The Great Ship Company Ltd., Bristol and Clifton Zoological Society, Thames Tunnel Company, Weymouth & Channel Islands Steam Packet Company and General Cemetery Company.
This item is a folded multi-membraned parchment document. It consists of 6 parchment membranes, all folded at the tail and secured with two small parchment stiches and one larger central parchment tab which also supports a papered seal. The media is black printed ink and black writing ink. There are two paper documents pinned to the top left corner of the second membrane.
Interior documents include copies of the death certificates of Sir Benjamin Hawes and Dr. Seth Thompson, executors of the will.
